And so it begins...
Blogging is just about the last thing I ever intended to do, but this will serve as a good medium to post ideas and drawings for tools, modifications, and the like. You won't see me write about my life, work, etc, but I hope that by writing down some of the work I've done with my machines that someone might benefit along the way.
So here's the short introduction: I'm located in Huntsville, AL (Rocket City). My shop consists of one half of a two car garage in a rented house... but it's enough space for me to fit in a small Sherline CNC mill, a Logan 10x24 lathe, and a good size workbench with plenty of room to spare. I'm not an experienced machinist, but spent quite some time working in or around a machine shop in college, and for the most part, enjoyed it.
I hope some of you guys and gals out there will find something useful here as this comes along. Just like every other homeshop machinist, my budget is small, dreams are big, space is limited, and wishlist is huge. Let's try to help each other out.
